Would not purchase this type

Would start buzzing ( i guess turning on) during the night. My daughter thought there were batteries in it and proceeded to try and find them to shut it up. Finally just put it in the other room. Then later I find out she just threw it out! I would of tried to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the fact that I can brush my wisdom teeth with this tooth brush. Also it is quieter than some others I have used.

This Philips Sonicare was cheaper than the one I had before. The one I had before just was a better product all around. I loved that one. This one does a good job.

Battery should be replaceable by the consumer

I have had three Sonicare tooth brushes there is no way for the consumer to replace the battery it must be sent in for service.
Cons: cost

I like the sensitive brush offering. It keeps a charge long enough to travel for a short period, without taking the charger
Cons: the replacement brushes are too expensive.
