This toothbrush not only works great for me on a daily basis, it also is great when I see my dentist twice a year. Always remarks on how good my teeth, and especially gums are.

Simple design and ease of use

This is my first Sonic toothbrush, so I opted for the model with the most basic features. I was impressed with the learning function, normal operation, and healthy white modes all incorporated into on single button on the chassis. Cleaning this model is extremely easy, as is changing the brush heads--which last up to 3 months with daily use.
Since owning this product, I've used a traditional toothbrush 2, maybe 3 times when I was away from home. Using the Sonicare now feels completely natural, but a traditional brush feels like stepping into the Dark Ages!

Really great feeling in mouth

I had used another brand of electric toothbrush for years, but when it died, I bought a Philips Sonicare at the suggestion of my son, who is a big fan. From the first time I used the brush, it made my mouth all tingly and clean feeling just like I had had my teeth professionally cleaned by a dental hygienist. I also like the 4 quadrant timer that helps me evenly distribute my brushing efforts. The Clean & White feature is also nice, if I have a little extra time.
My wife also uses the same brush (we got the set with two handles), and it makes her kisses extra sweet.

Teeth feel like I just left a dental cleaning appt. Only bad thing is that the battery on one of the 2 handles quit after just a couple months and would not re-charge, so I had to buy another handle.
Pros: superior cleaning
Cons: got a bad battery but hey stuff happens

My wife and I really like the Sonicare units overall. The only thing I object to is that they are a bit noisy when one is using them. If that could be toned down somewhat, that would be great.

Terrific refinement over older models

I've had Philips Sonicare toothbrushes in the past, but this new HealthyWhite model and much improved and refined over the older models. The design of the brush head is slimmer and reaches into all tooth surfaces, and the different modes programmed into the handle provide different cycles that are perfect for my wife and me.
I highly recommend existing users to upgrade to this model, and new customers to give it a try; you will not be disappointed!
