The toothbrush holds a charge for a long while and works fairly well. Its hard to make sure if you have pressed the button for the extra whitening feature. It would really be nice if it had a digital timer instead of just shutting off at the end sometimes if I'm not really paying attention I'm not sure if I got all areas or if I'm just on the third area of my teeth.
Pros: holds a charge for a good amount of time
Cons: it feels bare bones and very basic
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product was recommended by my dentist. I had been using another rechargeble toothbrush, but placque was continuing to build up. Since switching, I have had much better results and fewer cleanings per year.

I used to have an another electric toothbrush and while I was very happy with it when it gave up the ghost (lasted a long time), I thought I'd try something different. The main reason for changing is that we have a fairly small bathroom and only having one charger made more sense. My wife's sonicare is pretty new and she is happy with it, so I thought I'd give it a try. Well it works just fine, maybe even a little better than the other one. I'd recommend sonicare to anyone.

I didn't realize that toothbrushes can vary so greatly. I used a different brand of electronic toothbrush before this one and this is much better. I also like that it has the 2 minute timer since I wasn't brushing my teeth long enough before. All you need are these two settings. I don't think its necessary to spend more money on the brushes that come with more settings than this.

Very clear instructions. Easy to keep clean. Not one minute of problems for either set. Makes it easy to brush teeth for the right amount of time very easy.
Pros: good design, easy to hold on to., very long lasting charge

My wife and I have been using a Sonicare for more than 8 years. every year when we get our annual dental cleaning and exam we hear from our hygienist about how well we have done in taking care of our teeth. We are certain it is all due to our use of the Sonicare that we regularly have such good checkups.
Pros: reliable easy to use and effective

Very good but limited usefulness

It gets the exposed surfaces of the teeth nice and clean, but is no substitute for flossing and does not stimulate the gums as well as my manual toothbrush.
Pros: cleans exposed areas well, i like the timer
Cons: does not remove even soft plaque at gum line, does not remove even soft plaque between teeth, does not stimulate gums, handle a little large and clumsy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
