paint peeled on interior of oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some time after we purchased the oven, sections of the paint on the inside of the oven began to peel off. The peeling has continued over several years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paint Peels Off

The unit still works for 4 years, but the inside paints have peeled off badly. The peeling started in a year actually.

Love the 1100 watts

Nice size and powerful with 1100 watts. Cooks faster then my old microwave and the one button start feature is something I use every day. Not one con, all pro, for this great GE product. I highly recommend.

Hello - We are sorry to hear that the interior paint of your microwave is peeling. We do not have an approved repair method for a visible damage to the coating inside your unit. Please discontinue the use of the microwave and replace it as the microwave is not repairable. We apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom got this for me Christmas 2010. Inside paint is starting to peel so I am not taking any chances and purchasing a new one. Here is (hopefully) to another 15 years of service.
