I liked it a lot but was a little slow for me. Needs a little more ram speed to make completely functional.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, updated rather quickly
Cons: Did not meet expectations, ram speed, internal memory
I would recommend this to a friend!

well during my time overseas, my aunt decided it is time for me to have a phone. So she bought this phone and did not read the features of it properly. While in maryland still,it had finally arrived. Then we returned to our homeland Barbados and i felt proud that i had it. My aunt bought a simcard for it and then realized that it could not hold a sim card and that it was a tablet and then after that i did not really care because i had an electronic device for the first time.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!

AVOID THIS PHONE. Mind of it's own, factory reset itself with no input, constantly restarts itself and refuses to let you answer calls.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It is garbage. It is literally the worst Samsung product I have ever owned, so much so I question if it really is a Samsung device in any way other than name.
I have had this phone for almost two years, and yesterday, the day before my BIRTHDAY, it decided to factory reset itself for no reason and without any input from me. I was just browsing a forum for a video game I play and it restarted itself and then said it factory reset itself.
Lost ALL my contacts, thank goodness for Googles backup, but I still lost some of my contacts because this phone REFUSES to backup random people you add into your contacts.
The factory reset caused me to have to reactivate my phone, so I can now receive calls, but I can't receive any messages.
The reset didn't delete any of the data on my phone from before, but has deleted all indexes to that data, so now my phone is saying it has no available storage even though all that is installed on it now is the factory items and nothing else.
A great way to spend my birthday, I can't receive any calls from family and none of my friends can send me happy birthday texts.
On top of all that, this phone will only let you install certain apps on it, most apps I try to install it just says there was a file index problem. If you take out the battery and allow the device to discharge all its power completely, it will erase ALL your messages (your message storage is completely dependant on having power). And it is CONSTANTLY badgering me to install the same update over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over for eternity, and if you don't it starts spamming the screen with Japanese gibberish until you install the never ending update. And because it randomly decides which phone calls you can and can't receive, you are doomed if you are looking for a job. I literally lost a job offer because of this. I contacted the employer a week after my interview and they said they could never get through to me and offered the job to someone else.
Avoid this phone at all costs. I'm not sure I will ever purchase a Samsung phone again after this, because I was looking to upgrade in the next few months.
Pros: i can smash it with a hammer when i replace it
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, constant freezes, restarts itself at a whim, randomly refuses your phone calls
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My father's phone....

But he is not tech savvy so when he needs help, I'm the one to adjust things. The problem with this phone is the fact that it has poor storage space and when I update his apps it says insufficient storage. He barely has installed any apps on the phone only two or three. I attempted to use a micro SD card of 8 GB but it seemed not to work plus I really don't know how to use one. It was still giving me the insufficient storage notice. Overall I would give this phone three stars but it has great potential if you can figure out how to make room for apps expanding and needing more room for updates. Because storage is a problem the overall rating is a three star. If I could make the storage issue go away, I would use it if my S3 goes out. It's cheaper if you want a phone that is still with the times and has touch screen features and Internet access.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
