SO CLOSE! Wheres the actual water bottle holder?!

Man oh man....this backpack has it all...pockets for days, tech vault and comfortable back padding. BUT.....the deal breaker for me is the lack of an adequate water bottle holder. I can't believe this huge design flaw. Any bottle remotely larger than 20 o (not even a lot) will be leaning out of the pocket like the tower of Pisa (even with the strap/bungee cord thingy). So sad... I am going to try the Renegade SS because that bag is nearly identical except that the water bottle slot is a little different and has some elastic expansion capability when opened. So we will see, but I won't be holding my breath as I am over 6 feet and I've seen numerous reviews say that the straps are really short on that bag. OGIO you need to get these tiny design flaws sorted out ASAP!
Pros: pockets, comfortable, sleek
Cons: water bottle holder
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice backpack but small laptop slot

Lots of compartments and very well padded and constructed. But the laptop slot doesn’t fit my 15 inch HP laptop. I guess that’s what they mean when they say it fits “most” laptops.
Laptop pockets are way too small for MacBook pro. Other inside pocket for files is way too small. It is bulky/structured more than I would prefer. You cannot make it slimmer with side straps. So it works but not ideal.
Bought this a few weeks ago. The many compartment spaces are great and the size of the main compartment was exactly what I was looking for. My only two slight dislikes are the sunglasses compartment is a little too deep where I often hit it pulling things in and out of main compartment and it’d be nice if it have a larger mesh pocket for water bottle on the side, the small one it has fits a smaller bottle fine but nothing much bigger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Comparing my old RSS with my new Gambit
on June 9, 2022

Both backpacks are excellent, durable, and have a savvy look. The RSS has a more stout rear computer compartment. That compartment and the hardened sunglasses case on the top sport bright red interiors. Very slick. The Gambit shown with white personalization, has more pockets. But both backpacks are loaded with pockets. Both are sturdy. The Gambit may be a bit larger in the main compartment, but it’s close. The Gambit has a baggage handle pass through for your suitcase. The lower pockets are mesh on the Gambit, but solid on the RSS. I prefer solid. It has a right top carry handle, but the RSS handle wore well. Expect both packs to last for years. I am only replacing the RSS as my dog chewed through a zipper. Otherwise, I would be using it for years to come.
It is a nice looking backpack with limited pockets. Although it is advertised as a "laptop" backpack, it really is not. It should be advertised as a tablet backpack. The laptop space is very small and barely fits my 14 inch laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was purchased as a gift - quality was great and shipped in a timely manner. Love the options and storage space
I’m not a backpack fan at all but I ride a motorcycle from time to time to work and it was needed. Have tried several bags in the past and they all have been mediocre even though they were a higher price point than this one. I have a touch of OCD so everything has to have its place. And with this bag it does. Plenty of pockets not so big things get lost in, I nice little admin section right up front, hard case sunglass compartment and then a main compartment that will swallow a lot of stuff if needed. The only thing I wish was done was to make the inner liner a contrasting color so you could see it easier but other than that well done. Seems to be made durable but only time will tell.
