We are very happy with our purchase, particularly with the way it fits into its assigned space in a custom kitchen design. We've known for a long time that the French door/bottom freezer was the way we wanted to go and it was especially gratifying to be able to take advantage of a closeout sale on this item---Thank you---!

Freezer freezes up and leaks water

About 13 months after getting this appliance we noticed the freezer freezing up and then the ice would melt and leak water on the floor. I cleaned out the freezer and removed all the frost/ice and within a month it did it again. Apparently this unit has a problem with the freezer drain clogging up. So now i get to clean out the freezer again and unclog the freezer drain hose. I expect more from an appliance that costs as much as this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like lots of shelves and drawers. Since my husband drinks soda, it is a nice feature for holding soda. I could even have used a few more shelves on the doors. The bottom freezer was something I wanted to try, but I think I still would prefer the side by side. It is taking some time to get used to organizing items in the freezer on the bottom. Someone said it is noisy, but I hear nothing but a hum, so maybe this is what they consider noisy. All in all, I like the reviews that Consumer's Guide gave it.

Nice features and cleean looks

This is a great frig so far my only issue is that the left door doesn't shut all the way on it's own when you open the right side. I don't know if it needs more lubricant or what but that is the only negative so far. It has good storage space especially if you have a lot of short / flat containers. If you are a bevearage person and like to keep pitchers or 2-liters in your frig you may be limited in space with this model.

The design of this model is what prompted our purchase. We have good, cold well water so I appreciated being able to have the ice maker without giving up space for a water dispenser. I particularly enjoy the ability to customize the shelving in the refrigerator including the door shelves. The only thing I am not pleased with is the fragility of the wide, shallow drawer designed for platters. It also doesn't slide out smoothly. If I had small children I imagine that would be the drawer I would want to use for their snacks except I don't think it would stand up to that kind of use. For the price we paid I would expect all of the drawers to be of equal quality.The rest of the drawers are much stronger and slide out easily. This is the only frustration that keeps me from giving this refrigerator an excellent review in all categories.

We are very happy with our refrigerator. A little more maintenance, due to the stainless steel, but it looks great in our kitchen. The freezer drawer is a lot smaller than expected, and we do not use the ice maker. Our electric bill has went down, which is a big PLUS!!

This product has great storage

Love the freezer on the bottom. Holds a great deal of food and easy for the kids to get their ice cream, ice and waffles on the top shelf. Refrig has a great deal of room also. Love the big drawer at the bottom - big enough for pizza boxes and large trays.
