Worst ever

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. It does not hold as much food in either the fridge part or the freezer as a smaller side by side fridge I had before. The freezer periodically, every month or so has frozen ice in the bottom of it which must be removed. This product is terrible. I will never own another whirlpool refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Think twice before buying a Whirlpool appliance

Had I not had a friend who worked for Whirlpool at the time that I redid my kitchen, I would have NEVER bought ANY of their appliances! The microwave gave up the ghost w/in 6 months and now this refrigerator has quit. It's pretty bad when the repair man would rather you buy a new one than fix the Whirlpool one. So goodbye Whirlpool. You have not been a good friend or neighbor to me. So much for supporting the local business.

A good refrigerator

It works well, keeps food cold. We are still figuring out how to store and organize food in the French door unit. There is not a lot of space for very tall items without wasting a lot by taking a shelf out. It's very quiet. It would be nice if we could remove the ice maker.

overally good purchase for price

The ice maker is a little loud, and we get moister on the inside flap of the door. Freezer is more compact than I really wanted but will buy another small freezer to take care of that issue. Overall lots of space for putting food, it was an adjustment at first from the use of a side by side. We picked this one as we did not want the water and ice dispenser on the door.

Poor quality shelves & freezer continues to leak

Purchased in Aug 2011. Delivery was 11/7/11. Freezer continues to leak & we are unable to access the back as the top freezer shelf does not come out.

outstanding buy

We were looking for an energy efficient appliance to replace an older model. Not only did we get that but I love the finish which really lights up the kitchen. I appreciate the innovative slide out drawers in the freezer in particular. They make finding things much easier. I also love the large bins in the doors of the refrigerator and the pop can dispenser.

Leaks constantly...don't buy!!!

I bought this fridge 5 yeasr ago, but have been having the leaky water problem for the past 4 years. Ice just accummulates at the bottom of the freezer and then leaks out of the freezer, creating a pool of water on the floor. AVOID THIS FRIDGET AT ALL COSTS!
