The Whirlpool French Door refrigerator has a great style. The setup of the unit allows for easy organization, and use.

We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator because we have always been very pleased with our other Whirlpool appliances. Our refrigerator is very roomy, runs quietly and keeps our foods cold and fresh. We are counting on this refrigerator to be as good as the Whirlpool appliances we have purchased in the past.

We had only a couple options when purchasing appliances for our new home based on what a local retailer offered. We felt this was the best fridge for the money. The first one we purchased, the ice maker didn't work and we ended up getting a new one from the retailer. The one we have now works great. Would like to be able to turn off the ice maker when we don't want it to run. Not sure if this is an option and we just haven't figured it out.

Nice idea if it didn't leak and freeze on the inside of frid

Bought this along with matching range and microwave. The fridge is a great design with super storage capacity, however the internal ice maker is causing excessive leaking and freezing on the inside of the fridge, making the top shelf unusable because the items stored there get wet.We had a certified repairman come out with the original fridge to fix it. He said this was a design flaw and installed Whirlpool's fix-heating wires and a new rear seal. Whatever he did made the problem worse and we had more leaking than before. The company replaced the fridge with a newer model which was supposed to fix the problem.Everything was fine for 6 weeks until the freezing began to occur at the rear wall on the new replacement, and water is dripping from the seam midway on the left ceiling of the interior. We will have to have the repairman come out again. This is junk for the price.Additionally, one of the glass shelves seems to tip to the right and may be warped, or the rear support may be bad. The interior quality of the fridge is adequate, but borderline cheap.Very disappointed with the quality for the price of this model-there are better products on the market than this fridge. Take the time to look around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally, this is a pretty simple refrigerator. I like the French door design. The Freezer is a little small, but we have a freezer in the garage to compensate. The milk shelf in the door could be a little bit wider, as it is VERY tight to fit two 1 gallon milk jugs in there.

We started life in Az with a whirlpool refridgerator, without any frills. after 20 years of use, it was time for a more modern one, altho it still worked well.We love the new one. It is so spacious and easy to get to all our refridgerated products
