Researched consumer Reports visited many appliance stores and reviewed their featured and quality. after much soul searching and advise from consumer reports we decided the best deal and quality fir our needs was a whirlpool refridgerator

When we bought this product, after reading some reviews online, I said I would make a point to write one after a few weeks of getting it home.What helped more in my search is that we read the Consumer Reports Guide for 2011 and it was the TOP RATED bottom freezer refrigerator (they don't distinguish between that and french door). This guide is not just a bunch of angry people ranting.Overall, this refrigerator is great. It is not noisy, we have not had any issues with water leakage (if you have, you might want to check your water hook-up and not assume it is the fridge), and there is ample freezer space.We chose the option without the water dispenser because we like the filtration system we already have for drinking water, and also because the more complex something is, the more that can go wrong with it.The only one complaint I would have is that there does not seem to be enough room for large liquid containers (like wine bottles). The can caddy takes up quite a bit of space for someone who does not drink soda.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This refrigerator is well designed. It is organized and roomy which my family demanded. The stainless steel looks great and easy to maintain. The lighting inside is evenly laminated, and it made it much easier to see everything front and back inside the refrigerator. The freezer is greatly accessible with ease and roomy. I am very happy with this refrigerator.

My only concern is the drawers seem like they could break easily along with the trim on the door shelves. Overall I'm glad we bought to fridge and have enjoyed it so far. I also wish they would have given it a nicer Whirpool logo on the front, looks cheap compared to other logos.

This fridge is nice. I hate the ice being down in the low freezer. stuff falls into it. The biggest complaint is that two jugs of milk barely fit in the milk spot, they squeeze together so hard that they leak out the top. There is't enough tall storage space. its also pretty loud...ice maker especially.

The features are exactly as stated in the description. Freezer compartment consistently stays freezing cold and the food smell from this compartment does not travel upward. Would be nice if the freezer compartment can already come with the solid tray instead of the net tray. I was told that it costs extra to get them. Overall, satisfy with my purchase.
