Best phone, uncomparable

I used this phone for four years, and it was still working perfectly. I'd never had a problem with it, despite how much I used it. Eventually I decided it was time for an update, and after much research I bought a new phone. However that only lasted a day before I was back with my Dare. I am constantly texting, and this phone is the only one I can do so on, with accuracy and a fast pace that is. For someone with nails as long as mine, they slide off actual keys, and make texting on a heat sensitive screen impossible. On this touch sensitive screen I was able to text, as well as do everything else, perfectly. It's more durable than I thought imaginable, amazingly accurate, and has great features. I don't think I'll ever be able to use another phone.

Lack of Passcod

I think this is phone is great, very easy to use, intuitive and great for searching the web. However, there is no way to lock the phone with a passcode unless you go into the settings every time you want to lock it. LG I suggest you make the lock button be able to be passcode protected. THANKS!

Best Mobile Phone EVER!

Bought my Dare in May '08. I LOVE its compact size. The fact it doesn't slide or flip is a BIG plus. I'm still on my original battery even though I use it daily. It holds a charge FOREVER on standby. It has NEVER cut off on me. I LOVE EVERYTHING about its Touch screen. IF LG can improve on it, I hope a DARE2 isn't too far in the future. Maybe one day I'll consider another phone but for the forseeable future you'll find me on my DARE because I can't put it down!

I like this phone, however, it has had some issues. I've had to return it for a "refurbished" phone. My original phone would freeze while using IM and then it had some other screen issues. Not a bad phone, but not a really solid phone either.
Pros: easy to use, Style/Design

I was looking for a new phone and this was recommended by a friend. I decided to purchase a Dare and it was great decision.I like the funtionality of the phone and the ease of use for all features.The performance of the phone is outstanding.

The screen constantly freezes and the touch screen is horrible. The only good thing on the phone is the camera. Nothing else works. save your money. buy something else

This is the best phone I have ever bought! I love it. Features are easy to find. Camera is great for a phone. Love the touchscreen capability. If anything is wrong is the size and the difficulty to input information in web processes (i.e. address, password, etc). If it had a stylus it would be better and easier.

Cons: difficult to input data in web

I'm on my third dare in less than a year. Can't wait to upgrade to something else.The phone most of the time I have to repeat myself because no one can hear me, if I'm using the navigation and don't answer an incoming call the phone locks up and the ONLY WAY TO UNLOCK IT is to take the battery out for a second and put it back. It has too many drop calls to count. When you try to take a picture it always want to take a video.Like all things there is always a lemon,but three WOW!!!!!!! LG needs to take it back to the drawing board.

Cons: locks up & hard to hear
