Great Phone

I have had this phone now for almost 2 years now. I love it, I love it so much that I am able to up grade but am having a hard time finding a phone that I will like just as much as this one. I have no problems at all with it. Battery life is good, I can charge it all night and it will last me 2 days, takes good photos.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Phone

Have had this phone for about 1.5 years and I love it. This is my 4th LG phone and I dont see myself ever changing brands. The only bad thing is over time scratches will show on the screen from scrolling.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
Cons: scratching screen

LG DARE great little phone

The Dare is easy to get friendly with. the camera is very good , but needs a zoom feature. videos are acceptable and you can zoom in that mode. texting is fantastic with the virtual quarty key board . It is possible to watch youtube videos and full length movies that allow copies for your other devices. youtube videos can help you with this. The Dare can do many types of wallpaper including animated. voice quality is excellent with calls and on videos. I've had this phone for 2 yrs and It has been a lot of fun. internet isn't the best but with a little practice and patients it well serve you well.

Not your typical phone if you DARE

I've owned this phone since '08 and I've went through 3 of them so far cause it keeps powering off for no reason, I'm getting my 4th one this friday due to the same reason. Other than it powering off for no reason the phone is great :) the ringer is very loud + phone is easy to use, not to bulky, camera takes great pictures and it has some cool features. I do however wish it kept track of all the text message sent like some other phones I've seen, cause people don't always respond quickly so I tend to forget what I've said to them. I am very happy with the LG product I have other wise I would not keep getting the same phone hoping that the new one won't be a lemon. Lg makes a great product and I will continue to buy from them and would recommend them to family or friends. I just wish they could fix the problem I keep having with my phone. Looking forward to the new products that will be coming out.

My time with Dare

I personally thought the Dare was a good phone but not excellent because it didn't have anything besides the touch screen that made it stand out. I like the ease of use and the camera takes very good pictures in optimal lighting. The touch qwerty pad was a good feature but it didn't work with me because I had a hard time trying to hit the letter I wanted. Some of the factors that disappointed me was the minor glitches on the phone. I have had the phone for about a year and I have had to get it replaced twice and I'm still having some issues. When I returned it the first time, the problem was when connected to bluetooth earphone, the screen sometimes would go black and not come back until I hung up. The other time, the touch pad lock wouldn't activate and the screen wouldn't go dark. Because of this, my battery would only last me half a day with minimal use. The phone I have now doesn't seem to have those problems but often times the buttons seem to be slow to react. When I try to see the list of recent calls by pressing the send button, the list will not come up and I have to push the end button and repress the send button. Then the list comes up after a little while. I think the problem may be with the OS. These flaws may not seem major, but they do create an inconvenience during everyday use. As much as I like the Dare, I only give it a Good rating because of these flaws.

Cons: no installed games, battery life is lousy when using bluetooth, minor glitches

Dare, Nice full of cool

The Dare is a cool looking phone with a lot of awesome looking features. The phone works fine, but if you are a serious texter, then get one without the touch screen. The touch screen is cool looking, but can make mistakes and difficult to use at times.

This Phone is a TANK

I've had the Verizon Dare for around 6 years now, and it is easily the best and most resilient phone I have ever owned. My particular model has had a total of three crises so far:
1. I sat on it and there was a dent in the screen. The dent disappeared within minutes and the screen worked fine after that.
2. The camera stopped working (startup error or something?). Just waited a few days, camera works fine now, though it does have a bit of a startup time, but I'm fine with that.
3. Just recently, a blip appeared on the screen. Rubbed the screen a bit and it disappeared but then the screen stopped working – but only for a few days! And now it works just fine.
Can't stop the Dare.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE FEB. OF 09 AND I'VE HAD TO REPLACE IT 4 TIMES.I IT WOULD CUT OFF FOR NO REASON, FREEZE UP, MY SCREEN WOULD SCRAMBLE UP TO WHERE I COULDN'T TEXT OR CALL ANYONE, THEN MY PHONE WOULDN'T HOLD A CHARGE VERY LONG. BUT OVERALL I LOVED MY PHONE.
