Easy to clean filter

Most of the dishes I prepare are South Asian - Indian cuisine. That means, there is a lot of spices, careful roasting of veggies in oil etc. The kitchen chimney's filter therefore is an important aspect of my gourmet kitchen. Thank fully, the kitchen filter I have is easily detachable and can be cleaned in the dishwasher anytime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks nice, appears to clear the air adequately , however the on off switches for the fan make a "clang" sound when turning off. A screw driver is needed to remove the filter screen which means removing the screen for cleaning will be complicated.

Good Unit; Loud Buttons

A Perfect Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With limited space available and having looked a dozen options I chose the Frigidare Range Hood for it's size and looks. The only problem I encountered was in the mounting stage. The position of the holes for mounting were too close to the cabinet edge and the screws provided were too small to hold the hood in place. Other than that the hood works and looks beautifully.

Very nice but a little loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was part of a package that came with my new house, and so far so good. It does sucks in the smoke or vapors from whatever you're cooking. The lighting on it is amazing. The down side of it, is that it's a little loud when you put it on number 2. When you go to number 3, I really have to turn my tv very loud since my house has an open concept living room and kitchen. Another thing I wasn't a fan of are the very old fashioned push buttons that make that loud sound when you press them down. It there's an "on/off" button that I don't understand. To turn it on, all you have to do is push one of the numbers. To turn it off, you do have to use the off button that says "on/off". So really, the "on/off" button should really be an "off" button. I would recommend it to someone if they don't really mind the loud fan sound. I don't really mind it, but it's kind of annoying sometimes.
