Noisy and cheap feeling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a rattle when the fan comes on and goes away for a short time if I hit the hood. I don’t like the buttons. The whole thing feels horribly constructed.

Horrible hood

Same with the new home. The buttons keep popping this hood and they won't reattach firmly. I now have 2 of 5 buttons missing. This thing is a piece of junk! Would give it zero stars if I could.

I bought this a week ago to replace my old 42 inch Ventline Range hood. Be aware this range hood is a little heavy and is not just thin metal sticking out in front of the cabinet so check the material your cabinets are made of on the bottom. Mine were made out of thin veneer (manufactured home) and the screws pulled right out when the weight was placed on them. I had to reinforce the bottom of the cabinet. Once that was done the range hood installed easily. The halogen lights turn the cook top to day. You can barely hear the vent motor on low but I could feel the air coming out of the vent five feet away. on high you can definitely hear the motor but it is not bad and it will suck all the smoke from that burned bacon right out of the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

we liked the hood but.........

the hood was just perfect for our remodeled kitchen but with little use it quit working after several months.Frigidare replaced it for us with no hassle but we had to remove and install again.We have lost faith in the product

Can do better
