What a disappointment
on March 13, 2020

This combo unit will not allow user to select water level. At the end of the cycle there are pieces/areas that never got wet! I've done all of the suggested troubleshooting acts, a minimum of three times. Unit is now 2 years old - over paid for poor performance machine and has changed my mind about Frigidare products.

Thanks for your feedback, Valued Customer! We are sorry to hear that your unit is not living up to your expectations. We would be glad to help. Your model should be equipped with a water level knob. If it is, turn the water level knob to select a water level appropriate for the load size. If the auto water level is selected, the washer will perform a dry load sensing procedure before adding water to the tub. Water level is automatically calculated by the washer on models without a water level knob. If your water level knob is not properly functioning, we would like to know. Please connect with us directly, if you have not done so already. You can reach us via Live Chat online or by phone at our Customer Engagement Center. We are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 8 pm EST at 1 (800) 374-4432. ~Keyanna

Do not buy

We have had this unit for a while...troubled from the start, but stuck with it..a screw in the dryer drum came out causing a terrible problem...no service in our area, lucky my husband is a mr. Fixit, got it taken car of and tightened all the others. My BIGGEST gripe is not getting the clothes clean. Water saving is one thing, I agree we need to be conservative, BUT IF YOU HAVE TO WASH THE LOAD TWICE BECAUSE THEY DONT GET CLEAN IS NOT SAVING WATER OR MONEY!

Hello, Anniegeturgun. I am sorry to hear about your experience with this model. This generally not the norm and surely not what we would want for you. Please know that we make every effort to produce quality products, and your experience does not go ignored for continuous improvement. For best results with the washing machine, you can use a high-efficiency detergent because they are designed for top load washers like yours, which use less water. They are also formulated to reduce soap suds and ensure proper cleaning. I hope this will be helpful! If you ever need anything, join us via Live Chat here on the website or at our Customer Support line at 1-800-374-4432 Monday through Friday between 8:30 am until 8:00 pm EST. - Hailea

Horrible washing

Yes the bad reviews are TRUE! The washer does not provide enough water to ensure cleaning. I have to run the cycle a few times in attempt to get clothes cleaned. The set came with our new "furnished" apartment and I absolutely HATE when it's time to wash. Such a headache. I've had to run it on a "normal" cycle, then add more detergent and turn on the rise and spin cycle which is the closest it's gotten to actually cleaning the clothes.

Hi, new tenant! Welcome to our Frigidaire family! Please try checking your water pressure, if your washer is not filling the tub properly. Water pressure must be at least 10 pounds square inch (psi). Also, your drain hose may be kinked, see your Installation guide for proper installing of the drain hose. If this proves to be ineffective, please contact us directly.-Kindest Regards

The worst appliance I have ever purchased.

I purchased this machine in April. In the past 6 months I have had 3 different people come to service it and it still doesn't work. If you are thinking of purchasing this machine I would advise you not to.

Can't recommend it

The washer never fills up, no matter what setting you have it on. I often have to open the door mid cycle, & add several bottles of water just to bring up the water level. You never know what point in the wash cycle your wash is in, as it does not indicate it! The washer is very frustrating, I feel like my wash is not really moving with such little water in it, & thus my dirty clothes don't appear to be cleaned. I don't know HOW I can increase the water levels short of adding water in by hand. Also, the lack of cycle indicator;....since I am not sure if the wash is actually clean, I'd like to be able to pause it & start the cycle over again manually, but you can't! I just wish someone would figure out how to resolve this issue, I would love to hear it ! The drier also does not dry the first time, you have to run it again & again.

We bought in the fall and had installed over the winter. Had an initial problem where the washer would not drain in mid cycle. Also, almost any load of reasonable size makes the unit shake violently.
