I didn't have choice

My old laundry station was broken. Given the space limitation, I had to change for a similar one.
I like the design and new features. However, like other reviews you can find online, the dryer generally won't dry the cloth enough like my old one. So far it only works on my shirts. If you have something like fleece, or even cotton socks, the automatic setting will stop too early. So far I have to use the 60-min settings for all my drying.

My dad bought this brand new in 2004 and only now is having an issue with it not heating up. I am pretty sure it is a fuse in any case I will find out soon.

3 cold options?

Washer does not add enough water to clean anything. The knob says there is a hot cycle... that is a lie. The machine barely gets warm. It fools you. You can touch the water coming in and it is hot, but once it mixes with the water used to wet the clothes it is less than warm when it begins washing. Why 3 cold cycles? Dryer only dries when you use a timed cycle. No other setting will dry clothes completely. Anyone with this machine should get an immediate refund!

This washer/dryer unit came brand new with the condo we purchased. All the negative things you read in the other reviews are true. The washer does not fill with enough water at low or high settings. I can't wash a full set of king sheets for this reason. Ironically, there are times I've chosen the low setting and the water filled the tub. Once you choose a setting there is no going back, and there is no simple spin cycle. The dryer is horribly inefficient. It takes longer to dry the clothes than to wash them and believe me, the wash cycle is excruciatingly long. Using this washer,dryer is always an irritating experience. It puts me in a bad mood each and every time. If I could afford it, I'd kick the unit down the stairs and into the alley and purchase something else. I'm stuck with it, but you don't have to be. Buy something else.

disappointing

I loved this unit when I first bought it. It was very convenient and fit very well in my new bathroom. However, in just under a year the motor went bad. It took more than 2 weeks to get it fixed. And trying to get throught o the people who administer the warranty was a trial all by itself. I love the concept, but the unit needs to be looked at for more efficiency. It does not fill with enough water and the temperature settings are silly.

When we got it, it definitely had a problem. The wash cycle would get into a rinse, spin, rinse, spin that would go on for hours if you didn't stop it. Repairman tried to just reset the control board, but that did not work. Control replaced and now works fine.

DOA not once, but twice!
