I love my machine!

Broke the 2nd load of wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer and dryer combo a month ago did two loads of wash the lock on the door broke I had a service tech come out he had to order the new part I went three weeks without using it and he just fixed it yesterday

Do not buy!

This combo was designed by someone who never did a load of laundry! Have used it for over a year now and it never ceases to amaze me that this made it to the market. SO frustrated today that I had to vent. Washed a thin mattress cover, it barely spun the water out. Normally one would readjust it and rerun the spin cycle. No can do on this machine. Have to go through a lengthy rinse and spin with then same soggy results. Don't even think of using powdered detergent, clothes come out covered in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LizO, I am dismayed to hear of your laundry center struggles. Overuse of detergent can result in oversudsing that can restrict the tub from turning properly and not spinning out entirely. Use a low-sudsing, high efficiency (HE) detergent in the amount recommended to prevent oversudsing. Whether using powered HE detergent, or liquid HE detergent, please add the detergent into the bottom of the washer tub, before adding load to be washed. Great for delicate fabrics!

I had to adjust to a few things such as the unusual noises the washer makes (although quietly) and that it takes longer to wash than my old agitator washer. But since it doesn’t agitate the clothes as much, it is gentler on the fabrics.

Nice efficiency features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the machine for about a month and it is working great. It was weird to get used to, because it makes different kind of noises compared to our old machine, and fewer buttons to control what is happening, because it is all done automatically. But I have gotten used to that. It does a good job with washing and drying. The only thing that I think buyers should know is that the machine is quite tall, so reaching in to get all the clothes out of the washer would be hard if you were short! The dryer is also a bit higher up than our last machine. I am 5'6" and it is fine for me, but I did wonder if I would need a step stool or something if I was shorter! I like the machine though and am happy with it.
