Terrible

I bought this set 2 months ago while my house was being built. Already the washer does not work. After a hard reset and a diagnostic test, it needs a full new box of wires to be installed, another two weeks o waiting. Terrible product do not purchase it, total waste of money.

Fits in tight spaces but is missing features

We chose this type of stacked laundry center because it was one of the few that could fit in the space constraints that we had. It does have a large capacity, which we like. However, it is missing features common in most units. On the washer, there are no timing gauges to show when the laundry will be done, and there are no sounds to indicate that it is done. The dryer does have some fixed-time settings, but even there there are no displays indicating the remaining time and there are no end-of-cycle beeps/sounds to alert. (We use external times.) There are also some cheaper elements like on the dryer lent screen where the plastic rivets keep popping off. Rubber stops on the washer lid also keep popping off. For what we paid, I would have expected better. (The problem is, there are few options for this size and very few stores have this type of laundry center on display; you take your chances when you buy.)

Works well, features a little cumbersome

The washer and dryer seem to be effective, and are pretty large capacity for the size of the unit. However, the features are a little awkward. The first time you turn the dial or push start, it just turns the unit on, then you have to push start again to actually start it. The different cycles are labeled by type of clothes (i.e. normal, delicate). I'd prefer if it labeled by what it does (i.e. "more dry"). I also wished the washer showed where it was at in the cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful

Right after I bought this washing machine/dryer, there were problems right away. When I am washing, it takes forever to finish and I cannot open the door. It takes about 3 washes to get the clothes clean. It wastes a lot of electricity and time. It is very frustrated. I am disappointed with this machine.

Washing time is long and loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washing machine is very loud and makes a clunk, clunk noise. Not sure I like the agitatorless wash. Don't like that there is no softener add spot or quick wash cycle. The dryer is quiet and works great.

Wish it was convenient

This washer and dryer is not good to control.
When I chose Normal function, it couldn't stop automatically although it run over 75 mins. I have to stopped it by own. I don't want to watch it all the time. It wastes my time.
And there is no indicator light for the machine. I don't know it runs or not.
For the presoak function, it can't let water go in when no cloths there.
I want water goes first to decide how much detergent I use. But I can't do that.
The dryer is ok so far.

BAD PRODUCT

THIS UNIT IS NOISY, SQUEAKS WITH HEAVY LOADS, TWISTS YOUR CLOTHES LIKE THEY WERE WRUNG OUT BY HAND AND THE DRYER PERFORMANCE IS POOR. IT SHUTS OFF WHAT APPEARS TO BE RANDOMLY.
AVOID THIS UNIT

Didn't Last Long

Chose this model primarily because of the space saving, but about six months later the gears started grinding during the rinse cycle. However, Frigidaire honored their warranty with excellence and I am happy with the company as a whole.
