[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this unit almost five years and the only problem we've had was a little rattle coming from the rear cover in the freezer compartment during the first two years. The tech came out and fixed it with with some foam shimming and that was that.
It seems to run colder in the main compartment than the readout shows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our refrigerator makes a loud buzzing sound multiple times during the day. We have had repair techs to our home multiple times but they were unable to quiet the buzz.We will not be replacing it with a KitchenAid product.

All moving parts are solid. Looks like a built in. Love the ice drawer and interior water--very cold. there's just nothing we would want different.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased an entire Kitchenaid appliance package when we built our home 7 years ago. I needed a cabinet depth refrigerator and this seemed to fit the space best. The refrigerator has ALWAYS been loud and noisy to the point when guests were in the home many asked what those noises were. I called out the dealer we purchased the refrigerator from, he said he could not find anything wrong. I also had an independent appliance repairman listen to it and look at, he too said nothing was wrong. Recently, we were away for a week to come home to our refrigerator setting in a pool of red juices from the thawed foods in the freezer as the compressor went out in a 7 year old refrigerator. I see other reviews mention short lived compressors and expensive repair bills on this model also. We spent the $650 to replace the compressor. The refrigerator does run much more quiet now. Although, I'm happier to have a much quieter kitchen I hope this compressor lasts much longer than the noisy one. Wondering if I purchased a lemon?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice clean looks, very cold water out of dispenser, quick and ample ice, so far I think the refrigerator has even cooling with no freeze spots like my last refrigerator. Quiet operation. So far I am very pleased with this refrigerator! Only concern is I noticed moisture on inside door edge but they have a humidity control button to turn on that feature to help alleviate that problem.

No fruit or vegetables on top shelf. Rice and liquids, fine. We've had for two years; replaced water filter at about 1 year mark, at which point ice cube maker became a little noisier. We purchased the interior water dispenser model and were surprised at the great taste. Very very cold, but great taste.
