We initially had trouble regulating the temperature with issues of freezing items on the top shelf. We think we have it figured out now. The ice machine and water dispenser is great for our family. The French doors have no issues with closing- good design. I love the produce drawers - the food stays fresher longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge, it was a floor model, and the day they delivered it the company we bought it from took my old fridge so we wouldn't have to dispose of it ourselves. I had groceries that were in the old fridge that I put in coolers until the new fridge cooled enough to put the food in. We bought ice to help cool the fridge and freezer quicker, which didn't help. I called Kitchenaid to see why my fridge was not cooling down and they told me it can take 24 to 48 hours to cool down. Well needless to say I lost at least $150 or more in groceries because it never cooled down. I had to have the store I bought it from bring me a loaner fridge and take the new one back to get a repairman, from Kitchenaid, to look at it. NO FREON was in the fridge so thats why it wouldn't cool down. No Leak it just was never put in. Now that I have my fridge I love it. Take note if you buy a floor model make sure its working before it leaves the store. Also once it got here it only took a couple of hours to come down to the correct temp. Not happy with Kitchenaid or the store which I purchased it as neither offered to replace lost groceries.

We love the water dispenser inside because it eliminates splashes on the stainless doors experienced with models that have the exterior dispenser. The counter depth model looks great in our new kitchen. We would buy another if we move again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think we ordered our KitchenAid appliances in late 2013, as part of a kitchen remodel. The refrigerator, inductive cooktop surface, microwave, double oven and dishwasher were installed in approximately mid-2014. The microwave required approximately four visits from a repairman, within the first year. The refrigerator ice-maker recently stopped working. We had a repairman out who said it was jammed. He fixed it and it made maybe a dozen ice cubes and then quit again. Looks like it will have to be replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was the largest counter-depth one that I could find. The only issue is that you have to be careful to fully close the doors. One tends to stay open a bit. It does beep to let you know that it is open though.
