Poorly designed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As mentioned in other reviews, the freezer door does not close properly and ices up inside. I have had to wait 8 weeks to get a new one which arrived and didn't work. Now I have to wait another 8 weeks for another door. This all started August of 2015. It's now January 2016. Whirlpool seems to have wrecked Kitchenaid quality that once was.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this frig! the middle drawer is so roomy & helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator to match the KitchenAid 27-Inch Convection Combination Microwave Wall Oven, Architect® Series II since they are next to each other on the same wall, I love that I can open the doors and not have to bend over to look for items on a bottom shelf! I like the water dispenser and ice maker are on the inside. Plenty of room in the freezer and easy to see items stored. We wanted a modern and clean built in look and this product was the perfect choice for us.

The interior water tap is exactly what we wanted, a useful option that takes up much less space than a door dispenser. The shelves are well organized, and we especially like the bottom fridge tray for eggs and cheese. The three trays in the freezer make our items more accessible, and the ice tray scoop is great. This is our first counter-depth fridge and we're never going back. We highly recommend this fridge.

I like the clean look of the doors created by the interior water dispenser, and I like the removable shelf liners on the door shelves. The large bottom drawer is great for large casserole disher or pizza boxes. I worried that a cabinet-depth fridge wouldn't have enough room, but it's more than sufficient for us (family of three). It's very quiet as well.

We purchased a different manufacturer and type from a very reputable source in Jacksonville Fl.
Miserable experience to say the least and had to change from GE . Which all other appliances are profile to one that fits the opening better KA our second choice. This is a 5th service call in as many months from topics such as bad seal 3 times to Ice drawer problems to freezer drawer not sliding open.
I am on a first name basis with appliance repair guy.
