Great fridge overall! Was more than a little disappointed that it was not offered in stainless steel ...this style was only available in black!?! I was deceived by all the pics with stainless handles! The size is on the smaller side, but that comes with counter depth...overall pleased though!

Purchased this refrigerator on 5/5/2010. Compressor went bad on 8/2017. Expensive repair for a 7 year old refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After way too many years owning side-by-side refrigerator freezers, I made the decision to get rid of the husband and the side by side. In my new home, I have the KitchenAid panel refrigerator freezer. The expansive shelving is wonderful. The large freezer has numerous compartments and the ice scoop is a bonus I didn't expect. There is so much room in the KitchenAid. So pleased with my purchase!.

The temperature performance in the refrigerator is poor.

We have owned the refrigerator for three months, and have not been able to regulate the temperature.The temperature performance in the refrigerator vacillates from 23 to 40 degrees. Water bottles freeze at the top with temperature set at 39. We are scheduled for a repair.
Also, the compressor motor is very loud.
Pros: roomy for a cabinet depth refrigerator, easy to use, Design
Cons: repair necessary in the first months

Nice option for custom panels

I love the way my new custom panel refrigerator looks and happy I bought it but there are a couple things I was not expecting. My contractor installed the door panels and they are not completely level and a little bothersome. There is no way to adjust the brackets that hold the panels so we are stuck. Most people say they do not notice but not happy that nothing can be done. The biggest issue I have with this "counter depth" unit it how far it sticks out from the counter. I knew the doors would be beyond the countertop but you can add another 2-3 inches (minimum). The water line in the back of the refrigerator is installed facing toward the wall, instead of to the side, and you cannot adjust or it kinks the line. This adds 1.5- 2 inches more depth. For the price, I am great with this unit. Still a good value if you can allow for additional depth.
