love the fridge

we live in a small condo so the noise level is very important to us. We replaced the appliance we had for this whirlpool refrigerator and it is nice and quiet. You only hear the ice clinking in the receptacle but that ok, we use ice all the time. I would recommend this fridge to anyone.

This product was purchased to replace a Conquest Gold refrigerator that was damaged by a power surge. Although it does not have all the features of the "Gold" refrigerator, I have been pleased with it so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been disappointed with this refrigerator from the firstday I got it. When I went to use crushed ice, the ice wouldstop with a grinding noise. I tried to see if the ice was jammed,but it wasn't. I would get crushed ice for a few days straight, then it would stop. The only way I could get the crushed ice tobegin again was to change over to thr cube button, then backto the crushed ice button.The crushed ice stopped altogether, no matter what I did. I cleaned out the ice cubes..melted all ice to make sure it was notclogging. I finally called Whirlpool service and had a repair mancome out to fix it. It's working now, but the aggravation I had with it wasn't worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent refrigerator for apartment/condo living

I have a limited amount of space in my kitchen. Thus I have cabinets which run all around the room, including above the refrigerator. This refrigerator met my needs perfectly. I love the side-by-side design with the icemaker and water on the door. Keeps things perfectly cold, and the refrigerator door has roomy shelves big enough for soda bottles. Could have used a bit more insulation around the icemaker, as you can hear the ice drop and water refill from the next room. And you won't be keeping any large party platters in this on. Still, this is just about the perfect refrigerator for a small kitchen.

Overall operation is very good. The water & ice dispenser could have a larger opening with paddles instead of levers. The shiny black finish on the front scratches eaisly.

Very Spacious

I was a little worried that it would not be big enough but am pleasantly surprised with how much we can fit in it. We went from a 2 door fridge/freezer and this one seems o be so much bigger and better. the only complaint we have is the bottom draw is kind of a pain to close and the kids struggle with it all the time you have to push on both sides if you push in the middle it dosen't slide in right and gets jammed up off track.

Overall, we like the refrigerator very much. The freezer side is slightly larger (emphasis on slightly) than our previous 22 cu ft Whirlpool side by side however it has taken from the refrigerator side which we have noticed. Produce storage bins are smaller and slide-out shelves don't work as smoothly as the one we replaced. Shelves on door seem larger and more convenient than the older model.
