Bad Compressor 2.5 years

Shocked to see Whirlpool compressor fail after 2 years. Long wait for customer service and no help since no extended warranty. We did well with earlier products and didn't mind paying more for good quality. Not having to buy extended warranty was your best sales pitch. No more. Welcome to mediocrity.

ice maker flaw! don't buy whirlpool

I bought a new refrigerator 3 years ago ... the ice make stopped making ice .. 2 repair guys said there is a flaw in the model and you have to spend $800+ to fix ..NEVER buy Whirlpool again ... the company knows there is a problem and wont pay to fix!!!!

Whrlpool Fridge

Easy to use and dependable now that the compressor has been replaced after only 4 months. 2 weeks without a fridge and had to get a small refrigerator to tide us over.

Great fride ice machine a little loud

I need to replace my old fride and am very restricted in what will fit in my kitchen. This fit perfect and do to the design I have a lot more room in both the fride and freezer do to its design. Only compliant would be is ice machine is a little loud but with everything being in the door it is understandable.

It is a very loud refrigerator, and runs all the time. My biggest complaint is the ice dispenser. 90% of the time the ice button gets jammed and does not stop dispensing ice. You have to pull the bar to get it to stop. I had the repair company come out and look at it, and said that it is supposed to do that and does not need repair. I do not recommend this refrigerator!

The drawers are small, the door handle on the refrigerator side came off in my hand and had to be repaired, and the ice cube dispenser squirts water along with the ice cubes.

Fit Just Right

We purchased this fridge for 3 reasons: the name, the size, and the price. We have owned several Whirlpool products over the years and have always been pleased with how they have performed. We own an older home and this fridge fit our existing space perfectly. It's harder to find a side-by-side that will fit in a smaller space, and it was very affordable. We would highly recommend this product.
