Great fridge for a small space

We needed a fridge that would fit in a fairly small space (at least by today's standards). I really wanted the filtered water and the crushed ice, and I use those features every day.The layout is good. The freezer is fairly small, but we have a full freezer in our basement so we just needed something to keep the everyday items. The stainless front does show finger prints so I bought some stainless steel cleaner (spray can) for about $5. I also read that baby oil works to remove fingerprints on stainless. It matches our other appliances well. When I ordered it, I didn't realize that the top and sides were black, but I actually liked that feature once it was installed.In Maryland, our electric company provides rebates for energy-efficient appliances -- that was another plus.We've had it for a couple of months with no complaints.

Quality product. However there is nothing innovative about the design that helps with the fact that you lose space with the side by side setup.

My refrigerator is very quiet, the only sound that I hear from it is the ice dropping into the bin. I use the ice crusher exclusively and have had no problems. My only concern is that the ice bin slightly rubs on the jam when I open the door.The shelving and bins work well for me, I am just not used to keeping as may items in the doors and they kind of bang around when I jerk the doors open. Speaking of the doors, the tops of the doors could be finished a little nicer, I am tall enough that I can see some sloppiness in the folded joint and a little foam that leaked from inside the door, also little bits of plastic that was caught in the joint.The rest of the refrigerator cabinet is finished a very well.Over all I am very happy with this fridge, the one it replaced was at least 20 years old and I expect this one to last that long too.

Of all the refrigerators I went to look at, I picked this one out because it offered a lot of good things. I like the side by side and water dispenser. I like that the dispenser has options such as letting you turn a light on/off or when the filter needs to be replaced. It is a little smaller than I am used to but it's very quiet and suits my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
