Dosent hold a chagge very long

Whin I charge the razor it is charged to 99% no matter how long I leave it on charge. That is OK but when I put it away it looses charge. for example Yesterday I put it away with a charge of 47% and this morning when I turned it on it had a residual charge of only 43% it appears to loose 3 to 4 minutes overnight. When I shave I typically use 3 4i 4 minutes.
Pros: does an excellent job of shaving
Cons: looses charge on standing

I've used Norelco razors exclusively my entire life, starting in early 20's, now in late 50's. This is the best one ever. Closest shave in less time that any of predecessors. Comfortable feel in hand, weight and balance, very good. Five min quick charge was sufficient for two additional shaves! Norelco has never has a decent pop-up trimmer, this one is no exception. The shaving part - what I purchased the razor to do - is top notch, first rate. I cannot give greater compliments, nor can I imagine any way of improving upon this product (well there is that pop-up trimmer...). Good Job Norelco design team! You've hit a Grand Slam!!!
Pros: excellent contour along chin.
Cons: mediocre trimmer, travel requires bringing charging stand also.

Disappointed in trimmer

I have used Norelco shavers for years and like this one also. The timmer is not as convenient nor does it cut as good as my old XL model.
Pros: shaves closely
Cons: trimmer not so good

I have tried other brands over the years. None ever came close to this product.
Shaving with this shaver is effortless.
Cleaning is amaizingly easy.
This is the first shaver that I am truly satisfied with.

Norelco 8800 Shaver. some comments on 3rd attem[e wiht this model

I have used Norelco shavers since 1963. The previous (similar model was bought in 2010 Indicator lights went out in a year and batteries in 1 1/2 years. Replaced it and sure enough, indicator lights went out in a year. Tossed it and got a new Panasonic electric razor and after 6 months gave up. Could not get a close shave with it, ever

Try, try again wtih Norelco. Hope it doesn't die in 12-18 months. It does give a wonderful shave, however.
