This product has very good features

This product has good features but the only drawback is it is cumbersome to take with you when you travel.
Pros: good design and convenient to hold
Cons: cumbersome to take on a trip.

i fine it works better than the old style. one thing i fine a little hard is opening the heads to clean them. without finger nails it becomes tough to press in both sides at the same time to pop open each head.

I believe that this particular razor may have a defective battery. It had not charged past 48 minutes. The last time it only got to 46 minutes.

I'm still getting use to the new design of the 1290X. This 1290X is sleek, very quiet, and somewhat bulkier than the previous model I used-the HS8420. That older shaver gave me a closer shave and irritated the skin on my neck less than the new 1290X. Because of its design the earlier model also made it possible to nip some of the longer nose and ear hairs. The 1290X head is too bulky to do that.
However the 1290X does a better job on the chin, and the countdown timer tells me exactly how much time remaining before recharge. Its so quiet that sometimes I'm not sure its on, until I feel the shorter facial hair. I like the 1290X - its different than the older model I had, and I am still getting-adjusted.

Pros: quiet, handles easily, minutes-remaining readout, easy to clean
Cons: you will need a 2nd pass for a real-close shave, requires gel; soap doesn't work., sometimes its difficult to know if its on or off, longer ear and nose hairs beyond shaver's reach

Easy to use and maintain. Shave still doesn't come close to a razor.

Best shave by an electric razor and most comfortable. Easy to use and very easy to clean. Still has trouble hitting certain areas of the face. I use it to save time and on weekends.dyc

Smooth operator

This razor completely solves a long standing problem I have had with razor burn and irritation. I never have that problem anymore and this razor cuts close. It functions smoothly and works as advertised.
Pros: no razor burn
Cons: a little pricey

I've always wanted to be a an individual whouses an electric razor. I had bought many electric razors in the past, I would use them for a short period or time, then it would go in the drawer. Maybe I would try to use it later on with the same results. It didn't matter what brand the results would be the same. Now I use it every day and have had it fo more than six months. I am very very pleased with my Norelco razor,
