I purchased this gas cook top in June. Since then, the cooktop has only been used a handful of times and the burner heads (as well as the black caps) have all discolored. I am disappointed because I followed the owners manual, using mild soap and water to clean the parts. Overall, I like the look and performance of the cooktop, just disappointed in the discoloring of the burner head components.
Cons: Discoloration
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am excited again to cook now that I have my 5-burner cooktop; Its power burner really shortens the time to get water, soup, whatever...to boil and that saves me time prepping meals. Easy cleanup and especially the ability to lock the burners from accidental ignition (or from little, curious kids) are wonderful features!

I love my new cooktop. So much cooking space, and easy to clean. It looks great in my kitchen. I did have an issue with the back left burner, but Kitchenaid fixed it quickly.

We like the look and feel of the cooktop. The brushed stainless has been easy to clean which was a concern when we purchased. The only complaint is that the control knobs are too close to the heating surfaces.

I am extremely happy with this cook top. It was a replacement for an electric one and the difference in the 2 is amazing. Love how the knobs lock for a few moments with the gaze is turned on and no ignition is detected and the no streak stainless is wonderful.

When we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago, this 30" 5 burner cooktop had just come on the market, so we purchased it. I love the versatility of the 5 burners, with the middle burner great for stir fry and grill pans. I'm happy that the cooktop is very easy to clean - not a whole lot of parts to move. We recently built a second home and purchased the same unit for that kitchen! I highly recommend this cooktop!

This is my first time in thirty years of marriage that i have purchased a gas stovetop. I'm not sure what took so long, but i love it! The stovetop is a wondeful design and easy to keep clean. The actual knobs to turn the stove on are a little hard to clean around. If they came off it would make clean up a snap. Everyone that has seen it is very impressed. So glad that i did the switch to gas.
