I generally like the design but I find the knob area is somewhat difficult to clean. I think in the future this area could be designed better for easier cleaning.

Good looking cooktop with tight arrangement of burners

The stainless finish and the low profile knobs look great. Surfaces clean fairly easily. The center burner is actually 2 concentric burners that you ignite sequentially (auto-spark): the inner burner is for low simmering and ignites first, the outer is for high-heat and ignites second. Actually using all the burners at once would require small pots, but using a few at a time is reasonable. The hot surface indicator remains on for some time after burners are extinguished. Grates lift off easily for cleaning, but the rough finish tends to catch lint and paper towel fibers. Grates are intended to sit on cooktop only one way, which is not immediately obvious. Overall a nice looking, functional addition to the kitchen.
Pros: Design, easy to use, Convenient Features
Cons: surface finish on grates could be smoother, 5 burners are inevitably tight on a 30" cooktop

This is a great cooking top but the stainless steel is not the easiest to clean. Because of the finish you just can't wipe it up. Always streaky. Love cooking on it though.

great flames but can not stand the constant humming that the unit make when not in use. I have to keep unplugging the unit just not to hear the humming. ugh....
