I've lived with this dishwasher for about 3 months and have not regretted purchasing it. It is quiet, efficient and has neat little sounds when it turns on and off. I like that it shows when the rinse aid needs to be re-filed on the outside of the door. It's amazing how much it can hold! My only complaint is that the bottom rack often goes off the track when I'm accessing the dishes. It can be irritating, and I should have known better because the floor model in the store had the very same problem, and I thought it was just a quirk of that particular dishwasher. Now I know that it seems to be a problem with all of these models, that being said, all-in-all I'm pretty satisfied with the unit.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality, good value, holds many more dishes than other brands
Cons: bottom rack often falls off the track
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the quiet operation of this dishwasher. However, I have not been completely happy with the cleanliness of the dishes after going through a wash cycle. Sometimes it takes 2 cycles to get them clean.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

We recently updated our kitchen, and, having never used a dishwasher, this is quite a learning experience. We took a chance with the LG dishwasher (our other appliances are a different brand) due to availability in the store where we purchased the others. It was explained by many different merchants what to look for in a good dishwasher, and this one had it all! The manual was easy to follow, and, since there are only 2 of us in the house, we only use the "normal" cycle. Although I don't understand why it takes 2 hrs to wash 1 load (we've only run it once a week), it does a good job washing what dirty dishes we have, but, time will tell when it's cool enough to start baking and during the holidays to see how it handles then. It definitely is quiet, though our cats are spooked when they hear the cycle begin! I do notice an odor when I open the door to put dishes in, and I wipe dry the inside after a load. I assume this is because there is water sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher, so I leave the door ajar for a while to air it out. I'm thinking of putting one of those Arm n' Hammer Baking Soda boxes in between uses. Other than that, it's very easy to use, and it looks beautiful in our new kitchen!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, shows timer, chime after load is done
Cons: odor between uses but can be resolved
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Cleaning, but.....

This machine does a fantastic job cleaning dishes. Cycles take a long time, but the performance is outstanding. Its weakest point would be the quality and design of the racks. They are cheap and do not operate very well. They are constantly riding off their rails, and sometimes with a full rack of heavy dishes. Sure wish the quality of these racks matched the overall quality of the machine.
Cons: Difficult to use, cheap poorly designed racks

This dishwasher is very, very quiet. The only thing I don't like is when I pull out the bottom rack it can sometimes be hard to get back on line again. But it cleans very well and dries the dishes completely.
Pros: Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super quiet and energy efficient. I have owned this dishwasher for 2 years and have seen my electricity bills go down ever since. The quiet feature is important since our kitchen/dining/living area is all one room. You can barely hear it running. The simple design works well in our small home. Sometimes a little water is left on the dishes but using Jet Dry helps with this. Absolutely love this dishwasher.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
