SILENT & CLEANS GOOD.

Cleans good and is quiet. I agree with a previous review in that the slots for the dishes could be spread further apart. I also had trouble with the slots for the silverware. My previous dishwasher did have wider slots for dishes and no slots for the silverware and it also cleaned well and was silent - we remodeled, and went with the stainless steel (reason for replacement). Overall, I am satisfied.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

Not such a great deal

This is the first dishwasher I've ever owned where the dishes need to be clean before they go in. Why bother with a dishwasher then? The best thing I can say about it is that it's quiet. And I like the tunes it plays when the cycle is complete. But for the price, it's not a good deal.

So far the best dishwasher I've had...cleans well, no spotting, quiet and love the charms that alerts me when the load is done. My one and only gripe is that the plastics don't fully dry; but I've had that happen with every dishwasher I've owned no matter the manufacturer...we're very pleased with it's overall performance.

A Disappointment

This unit was purchased to replace a 20+ year old GE dishwasher and, at this point, I wish I had my old dishwasher back. The LG machine consistantly does not get items on the top rack clean. I find that I must re-wash everything on the top rack when the washing cycle has completed, defeating the purpose of using a dishwasher. The dishes are generally wet once the cycle completes and have to also de dried by hand. I would prefer the option of a heating element to dry items in the dishwasher but this unit has no such option but yet the documentation claims that it dries the dishes well without one....NOT true. This is my first LG appliance purchase and may very well be my last.

My Best Buy

Been using this dishwasher for 3 weeks and find it to be so quiet I must look at the lights to know if its on or finished. Dishes are clean, free of spots and dry. But I do have a slight problem in arranging bowls. Likely due to their design. Hoping for many years of use free of need for service!

Good start, poor finish

Product worked great for awhile, but now the soap dispenser doesn't work reliably, dryer doesn't work well, and it has gotten progressively louder since the day it was installed. I had high hopes, but it simply isn't a robust product for even light use.
Pros: Style/Design
Cons: Value, simply getting worses as time goes on!

We start it up every night and clean it out every morning. It holds a lot of dishes and will allow for adjustment to hold tall things. It is very easy to use and sings to us when it is done. The only thing we would change is that the soap dispenser doesn't always empty well if there are dishes in the way of the water.

Cons: soap dispenser emptying

I love my Lg dishwasher, its quiet, and does a good job on cleaning the nasty dishes my family refuses to rinse off. The only problem i have is with the design. once the cycle (water coming into the machine) starts and you open the door to add that glass or whatever someone fail to put in the dishwasher water drips from the lip of the door to the floor. but other than that its a good machine

Cons: takes 2 hours to wash and dry
