I bought the FHW401 safe and when I removed from box I noticed the cover was not moving properly. Closer look revealed one hinge was disintegrating with white powder all around it. I was going to return to store for replacement but after reading all the negative reviews about similar problems I decided not to replace it.

It is heavy so a thief could not quickly run off with it.
