Some of the reviews scared me. I carefully read how to operate the lock to not force it. The safe was delivered by UPS undamaged and we'll packaged. The interior height is oversized unlike other safes I considered. I decided to store it down the basement on a table partly because it is heavy. Registered it to take advantage of free replacement in case of fire. Replacement keys I didn't order because of high cost.

I purchased this safe so I wouldn't have to rent a safe deposit box at the bank. I was pleased with the quality and price of the product. My only problem is one time I had a hard time of getting it to open. I hope that won't happen again. It is the right size to hold everything I wanted to put in it.

The one thing that stands out about this is the heaviness of the lid, there’s no way that you won’t secure it closed. Prefect dimensions, as described. I’ll need a bigger one, though, for my other precious items. I’ll be buying the larger one soon. FYI it is heavy I carried it up four flights of stairs by myself. It took a bit but mission accomplished.
