So far the safe is very good although it is fairly large and cumbersome. I like the keys, they are much safer than the ones that come with the some of the smaller units. I hope it never gets put to the real test.

Does not come with US size hanging folders in Aust

Due to sizing differences in Australia. Should come with hanging folders as it cost half the price of the safe just to get the right folders from then US.

Pros..Like it because of the size. Can put important papers in without having to fold them. Locks and seals well and the weight is manageable. Cons... Would like to have a way to anchor to the floor. Also, right out of the box, the first one had two big cracks in the outside case and the second one, which I decided to keep, had two small cracks in the case by the hinges.

The front plastic cover that covers the locking key became loose and the key's "inners" broke! Won't lock and I now have pieces of the innards in my hand!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We don't have a lot of documents/items to keep dry and any from flames to our previous one was cheap and small. The hanging folders make this easy to organize, as opposed to folding then hunting for what we needed. solid feel to lock and key. Hope we never have to test it. The guarantee of replacement in case a disaster forces us to tear into it to retrieve the saved documents is a huge plus.
