The biggest reason I purchased this safe, over other models with a similar fire rating, is the carrying handles. Even these small fireproof file chest can kinda heavy and cumbersome to move around. This file chest is everything I expected it to be. The key lock kept the price within my budget. I gave it a low security rating but it was designed that way, so I am in noway disappointed. SentrySafe is honest and upfront about admitting that the larger safes are the ones designed to be burglar resistant.

This SentrySafe item is a strong, sturdy unit just large enough for the items I need to protect. As for the selling points of fire-proof & water-proof ... hope these situations never become an issue, but I feel confident that this product will do its job if called upon.
The limited lifetime "After-Fire" replacement policy only serves to make me happy with my SentrySafe purchase.

Fire and water resistant was what I was looking for, if there is a fire there will be water to put it out, good and roomy on the inside, cheap lock, but it is really not a safe but more of a fireproof lock box, only one problem I saw and that was the serial number is not stamped into the box, it is a sticker on the lid that falls off when it is still new, and you need the number to register the box for the free replacement if it gets melted in a fire.
