This is the perfect size for everything we had and even allows extra room for some more documents, etc. We had two smaller fire boxes that were maxed out and we needed something bigger. This new safe is also water resistant which the other ones were not.

Fire protection for documents, not for security.

The box is a fire protection container for documents. It is not a secure safe for valuables with a very light weight locking mechanism that was easily dismantled and removed and opened with finger pressure. It’s fine for fire protection but should be explained on the box label that it is not a high security anti-access safe.
