I needed a home safe and the key was I didn't need a huge one and yet so many too were way too small. This safe is a great shape and size. It is fairly heavy so I doubt anyone will be running off with it. Plus it looks nice. Also, I didn't want digital. And this safe with key lock is perfect.

We purchased this safe for it's protection of our important papers and media files. Since the contents would mean nothing to thief as their is no monetary value to them, we feel that this be just as safe for us as the safety deposit box without the expense and hassle. We're also not counting on finding out how well it will do in an actual fire but heavens forbid, if we ever do, we'll be sure to let you know at the same time that we take you up on your offer of a replacement safe. We love the fact that file folders hang inside the safe too.
