Safe appears to be built very well, the safe appears to be very durable... The safe is heavy, but needs to be to assure fireproofing and waterproofing.

Had a 1.6 cu' sentry safe, but couldn't get down on mym hands and knees to open it any more. Replaced with this one which is on a file cabinet, and it hold ALL our legal and important documents. Very happy!
