We bought this MW for our new kitchen. It lasted less than 2 years. Very unhappy with the quality for the price paid.

Great microwave, Just wish it had one to five minute speed buttons instead of those food buttons no one uses. Have to press 30 sec button four times for 2 minutes of cooking. Stupid favorite button.

Had this unit installed just over a year ago. Door button will not open/release door - have to pull on door to get it open. Called KitchenAid and said they don't service this type of problem. Advised it was cheaper to buy new one! Why would I want to buy another one when this one lasted less that a year? Very disappointed. If this were a $100 unit no problem, but thought I was buying quality. Obviously this is not a quality product.

Bought this for our new home, to match all other appliances.
The only reason I didn't give it an excellent, was I think it needs a handle to open, instead of button. It's a little difficult to open with that. But overall a nice appliance.

Almost immediately after installation, the touch panel started to bubble, especially around the "Start" button. The material is very low quality, and does not tolerate even moderate usage. We are very disappointed with this microwave oven, and with the lack of support from KitchenAid.
