We bought this microwave for a kitchen remodel, I was so excited to get all new kitchen aid appliances, but within 3 months the plastic on the front of the microwave has started to bubble up around the start button. It doesn't look good at all. If I knew this was going to be a problem I would have bought a different brand or model that doesn't have the plastic film. If Kitchen Aid has a way to fix this problem, please advise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this Microwave two weeks ago. It has power and features that make it a great addition to our Kitchen remodel. Classy look with our other Kitchen Aid appliances.

I bought this micro to go with my all-new KA kitchen. It works fine but the look is not the same as other pieces even with the built-in kit. A cheap black plastic button to open the door instead of a nice SS bar. This button malfunctioned on my old micro after about 5 yrs. When the interior light went out it was too expensive to fix. Nothing special here and a high price. You can do better.
