Replaced older Kitchen Aid which could not be repaired due to unavailable parts. Door button difficult to push. Turntable does not remain stationary if needed. Touch pad difficult to read due to little contrast in color. Plastic surround instead of metal. Liked my older version better overall.

My first one lasted 3 months and had to be replaced. Since I had atrium kiT th re was some expense to me because installer could not properly install..according to him. I have been currently using the new microwave for about 6 weeks. Let's hope this one does better.

LG has better features, but this is an ok microwave. Only one deforest level and the button to open and close the microwave does not match. It looks completely different.

This model looks great, especially with the trim kit. On the plus side, the unit has lots of room, fit and finish of the stainless steel is good and the cooking is quick and even. On the down side, it has a very 'tinny' sound when you shut the door. Other reviewers have mentioned this and it is noticeable. Given the solid feel and sounds from other KitchenAid appliances, this is a disappointment. Also, the keypad is plastic, not glass, so you have to press the keys juuuust right to get them to respond. This is a good unit, but it could be a lot better. In the end we returned it and upgraded to a built-in.
I would recommend this to a friend!
