WHAT A DIFFERENCE 10 YEARS MAKE!

We replaced a 10 year old Kitchenaid Microwave with this new one. The old one was a 900 watt unit, still working as new, but we remodeled the kitchen and went to all stainless appliances. The new unit is a 1200 watt unit. What a difference in power and features! We are really enjoying it.

Cooks well but there is not an "Express Cook" feature

I bought this for a house we remolded. I wish I had reviewed the features more before I bought. My other microwave had an "Express Cook" feature that I miss having on this.

I love the compact size and all of the options for cooking and reheating; it also has a 30 sec add button and most times whatever I am reheating is ready in 30 seconds! It matches my other appliances very nicely. A good compliment to our kitchen!

This microwave is fast! Where I had to put soup on for 2 minutes, stir, and heat another minute in my old microwave, my Kitchenaid is hot through and through in 2 minutes. It is large and defrosts evenly. I am very happy with my choice. It looks great, is quiet, and worth the few extra $$.
