This is the third unit we have had, replaced when others failed. Would have switched to another brand but rest of appliances are Kitchen Aid

We bought this microwave as part of a total kitchen remodel. It does the job beautifully. It is very quiet, even if you are standing next to it. The turntable and interior are easy to clean. It looks nice in the kitchen, and has a wide range of cooking shortcuts (like "reheat pizza") that are very useful. The repeat button gives you 30 seconds rather than one minute, as my old KitchenAid microwave did, but this one seems to heat much better than the old one. There is also a timer feature that you can use for other things, such as steeping tea, etc. My only complaint is that the buzzer that tells you your item is ready beeps an annoying 5 times, and if you are using the timer feature, you have to press the cancel button to get it to turn off. Other than that, a great purchase.

We bought this microwave when we remodeled our kitchen last month. It is extremely quiet when running, and offers many convenient features.

Dead on Arrival

Bought this unit over a GE Profile (My appliances are all Whirlpool Gold/Kitchen Aid) so I didn't want mismatched appliances. My Whirlpool Gold unit of 5 years died and I bough this unit. Plugged it in, didn't work (didn't cook any food). I cleared it out and reset it. It worked for 5 seconds and then stopped functioning. I'm waiting on a replacement, but don't have high-expectations for the replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have recently had two of these microwaves installed, the second because the mechanism to open the door didn't always work. I have to try 3 or 4 times to get the door to open. It was replaced with another one, and the door wouldn't open on the the new one. Also, the clock doesn't work. The microwave obviously has a design problem that needs to be fixed, All the other features were great though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
