This dishwasher replaced a smaller portable one. The casters are high quality; moving it to the sink when full is easier than I expected. It's doing a great job getting the dishes clean. The new energy-saving standards result in a long washing cycle, but it's nice that the option for a faster cycle is there.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A GREAT MACHINE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my older dishwasher for over 25 years and it was beginning to fall apart. So I decided it was time to get a new one. I found out that there isn't to many portable dishwasher available. But I researched the ones that I could. Decided to order Whirlpool Portable Dishwasher with Soil Sensor. I could not be happier It cleans my dishes so well. They shine. I haven't had any leftover residue on any item. The machine is quiet. If I need more wash time I can have it or if I only want 1 hour wash time I can have that. I am a happy buyer.

Great machine. No nead to read the manual - a monkey could set it up and operate it - very intuitive. Does a better job of cleaning than most I've used. I thought it was going to be a pain to deal with the hose connection but it's really simple and painless. Wheels easily across the floor, doubles as extra counter space, and parks nearly flat against a wall. Just a tad noisier than I'd like, but I think that comes with the vigorous cleaning ability. The door has a friction hinge so it doesn't snap back up when you don't expect it to. Very straightforward pushbutton panel.

My new portable dishwasher was delivered a little over a month ago and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I like how the racks (upper and lower) have ample space for different sizes of glassware, cups etc., as well as space in the lower for plates and pots and pans. The height in the lower is also nice for bigger serving plates that don't get in the way of the sprayer arm. I also like the utensil tray that is easy to remove to fill and slips right back where it belongs; not like my past dishwasher that was bulky and had to fit just right). I initially was looking at a different model, but is was discontinued, so I ended up with this Whirlpool and glad I did. Set up was easy and it came with the faucet adapter I needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this unit 6 months ago and it has made my life so much easier. It is very easy to move out of the way whenever it isn't being used and cleans just as well as any other dishwasher.
