Totally Satisfied!!

I had a used Whirlpool dishwasher for over 5 years before this purchase. I found the Whirlpool to be the most cost effective model in the market for portables. I like that it is lighter to manuver to my sink. Easy to hook up, and the dishes come out sparkling clean! Its a Winner!!

I chose this dishwasher because of all the good reviews. No ones mentions that it does not dry your dishes. They come out wet every time even on high heat and using the rinse agent and the detergent they sent. My water is set at a pretty good temp so I don't worry about sanitation, but it erks me to no end to have to dry my dishes by hand even after I start the dishwasher before a 10 hours shift and put them up after. It says on the dishwasher door " Use Rinse Aid and select Heat Dry option for best drying results", why would they say that if they didn't know about a problem with drying. Otherwise, sturdy, rolls well, construction seems very good #the detergent holder is a little flimsy#. I have not tried the hour wash, just normal with regular drying and high heat drying. It is black all around unlike some dishwashers. Unlike built-in dishwasher the door doesn't get to the lowest point and stay there it wants to pop back up. My built-in door was heavy enough to stay down. Also a little noisy but not horrible. I find it a little pricey considering it doesn't dry dishes. I'm not going to return it but when it goes will be buying another brand that actually dries your dishes. Hope this helps someone tried to cover most any question I had before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our 15-year-old portable dishwasher caught on fire, we purchased this dishwasher. It is lightweight and quiet which is an upgrade from our old machine. However, it does not clean as well as the old machine which is disappointing. It is true that they don't make things like they used to.

My husband and I moved into a great apartment 5 years ago. The only down side, no dishwasher! We cook alot, so washing dishes in the sink became a nightmare. During a trip to Abt we saw the portable Whirlpool dishwasher snd bought it immediately. Very impressed with the space in the interior. Tallest space we've ever seen on the lower rack! It's super quiet and the hook up to the faucet everynight is super easy. It does an amazing job washing and drying the dishes and my husband and I couldn't be happier. Great product!

Works Great and Quiet

We have had this for 3 months. Very quiet, dishes get very clean. Only complaints I have, You can't restart the drying cycle. Also you need to close the detergent door once the cycle finishes so it doesn't get tangled up with top rack if it's not pushed in all the way. Little things really... Our last one similar to this lasted 10 years.

Superior to other brands/models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had two other portable dishwashers before this one (both had to be replaced in less than a year) and I can't tell you how much of a vast improvement it's been switching to this Whirlpool model! Our dishes are sparkling, and we've experienced zero mechanical issues.
