Disappointed

We bought this portable dishwasher a month ago and are very disappointed with the way it performs. It washes great when you can get it to run. It will only work on normal wash. When we try to change the settings it does not run or it runs for a few minutes and shuts down and the blue button on the start/resume button blinks and then we have to cancel and restart. Sometimes we have to wait for over an hour before it will run again. The instruction sheet does not help with how to actually change the settings or how to get it to reset and start again. This is our 4th portable dishwasher and by far the worst.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet Whirlpool portable dishwasher

I bought a replacement for my 20 year old Whirlpool portable dishwasher. The new one is much quitter than my old one was when it was new.The baskets are now larger than the old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

another disappointing appliance purchase

First of all, we purchased this unit sight-unseen because the metal racks are coated with nylon instead of plastic.But, that is where the positives stop.I am very disappointed with this recent purchase mainly because it cleans no better than our old one. Each load has something that did not get cleaned. Once, a mason jar with spaghetti sauce looked like it did after I poured the sauce into the pan. Not a bit was clean and it was placed on the bottom rack in the corner.The silverware holder is 2/3 the size of our previous dishwasher and I feel that it is too shallow because if we are not careful the knives and forks hit the edge of the opening as we slide the rack in to close the door. In other words the utensils lean too far instead of standing more erect.Another design flaw is in regards to the soap dispenser lid. If we are not careful and try to close the door to the washer with the bottom rack sticking out, the rack will catch the open soap dispenser lid. It's just a matter of time before we have a problem.There are no cycle indicator lights.I don't feel that much practicality was designed into the appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 30 years of service, it came time to replace our Whirlpool portable dishwasher. Although it was still doing a good job, it wasn't until we got the new one in that it became apparent the strides that have taken place in that time. It's much quieter than the old one. It steers like a dream. Getting it hooked up to the faucet only takes the one try. And, the wash cycle is much better.

bought this dishwasher 2 months ago, easy to use, and move, not very loud when running. hold a lot of dishes. also use to sanitize beer and wine bottles.
