Best Working Dishwasher we've had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been without a dishwasher for a year because we moved to our cottage. The last few dishwashers we had by other manufacturers were top of the line but DID NOT clean the dishes. We had gone on a couple vacations over the past year and both places had whirlpool dishwashers (New Hampshire and Eleuthera) and were so impressed by their washing performance! We could not get a built in dishwasher because of our current kitchen layout so we chose the portable. First time with a portable and it works wonderfully. We use the one hour setting (minimal time) and the dishes are spotless with out prior rinsing. The portable aspect is not inconvenient at all because it is so quick and we can still use the kitchen taps. Very happy with the Whirlpool!

Not impressed

We bought this 3 weeks ago and have run it 4 or 5 times. We are still having problems with getting some dishes clean. We also have a gritty film on "clean" dishes even though we are using the same dishwasher soap and rinse aid that came with it. We don't like not being able to track the progress of the wash cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not What I Expected

We purchased this dishwasher a month ago. The most important thing is that it clearly gets the dishes clean! However, we are disappointed that the machine is noisy, the tops of glasses are wet at the end of the cycle, and the space provided for drinking glasses is too snug to fit on the upper rack.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We only use portable and this was the best choice

Works very good and efficiently. We dont use it every day but when we do, the dishes come out very clean and not spots and with our water, that is saying something.

Works great in theory

Was very happy with the performance of this product for the first few weeks until it began not cleaning dishes. Thought it was the detergent packs we were using so we switched to liquid after first service call when we were told the dishwasher was working properly. Well we opened the dishwasher only to find that the detergent was in a puddle at the bottom of the door. Hoping the second service call this afternoon will fix it!
