whirl pool dishwasher

I was excited about a new dishwasher since my old one decided to quit working. we got it installed our selves, I started using it but was not happy that it did not work right. after I called the service center to talk to them about it . they sent out a service person to look at it. we figured out it was how we installed it. and now it works like new.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Good Dishwasher

I just bought this dishwasher three days ago. I had some dishes I let sit before I bought this dishwasher. The plates and flatware didn't come very clean. I know it was my fault for letting my dishes pile up. If I load the dishwasher after not letting my dishes sit for as long as I did, all my dishes, pots, pans, utensils, flatware and glasses and mugs came out beautifully clean with no spots or film. From now on I will be washing my dishes a lot sooner than I have using my brand new Whirlpool portable dishwasher which I love. I am very happy with my purchase.

My whirlpool dishwasher that I had was working great, the water we have ruined the racks and the coating was coming off them. Since it was a number of years old I decided to replace it instead of new racks. I did have a time finding the same model I had. It took 3 months, but I was willing to wait. I have no complaints and would buy it again.

In the past I had two GE portables over the years. The first worked well but then the replacement kept breaking down so after two years I switched to Whirlpool.I really like this dishwasher, much better than the GE. I like that it's the slightest bit narrower. I like the design of the racks. My Riedel stemless wine glasses fit perfectly without a rack cover to keep them in place. It also seems to handle my ceramic dishes shape better.The first use I didn't like the way it cleaned, but I learned to put it on the high temp setting. If you live in an apartment building like I do then the water immediately entering the dishwasher is not usually hot. But the new enzymatic dish soap (now that phosphates are banned) really require a certain temperature to work. Mysteriously GE discontinued the heated water option on their current dishwashers I guess for Energy Star reasons. Anyway that hi temp setting made everything work well for me.The washing time is quite long but highly energy efficient. There's also a one hour wash setting which works well but uses more energy (according to the manual).Seems more solidly constructed than the GE.
