Doesn't dry the dishes

This came new with my house. It does a pretty good job cleaning with the 1 hour cycle, because I rinse my dishes well as I load, but the dishes are very wet even with heated drying and there is nowhere to add a rinse agent that might help. Since using this dishwasher requires Pre-washing AND Post-drying, this dishwasher doesn't measure up. I don't understand why drying would be neglected in the design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too loud but cleans well

This unit cleans the dishes well, but it is loud for a low decidable unit. Can hear it in the living room.

It does the job...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the dishwasher just to replace my current one and knowing that I do not use the dishwasher that often. However, the heat-dry setting does not really dry the dishes. This is one of the drawbacks. Also, there is no delay setting, so you must push start at the time you want it to start. Otherwise, it does the job.
