Great dishwasher - but with a design flaw

We have had this dishwasher for a little over 1 year. During that period we have had to replace the hose assembly twice, due to the nylon teeth wearing out and no longer properly connecting to the faucet. Replacement nylon teeth are not available, requiring the replacement of the entire hose assembly ($90) and about 1 hour labor by a technician (Part No 2 on the schematic). Whirlpool should either provide replacement teeth or build the dishwasher with brass/ stainless steel teeth. Replacement teeth probably cost around $0.10 each and can be easily replaced by the owner.

The man who flipped our house before we bought it chose the cheapest appliances he could and it shows with the dishwasher.From Day 1 I have had to wash dishes AGAIN after they went through the dishwasher...Appliances should be an investment, look into something higher quality. Nothing against Whirlpool... just suggesting don't get their lowest end model.

No rinse aid, kind of loud

There is no place for rinse aid and I definitely need it. I live in a rental, and can’t find the instruction manual. Not available online. I like that it has a quicker cycle, but it’s not doing a very good job of cleaning my dishes. Spotty.

Was installed in my town home brand new. Has NEVER dried dishes (and yes even when dry cycle is selected). No where to put liquid rinse Aid. Wash times seem long.Dishes do come clean so that's why I give a 2 rather than 1.
